A wonderful refreshing route is the “Trail of the springs”.
Sivros, the village that hosts you and the neighboring village, Vournikas are famous for their springs and flourishing nature and “offer” their springs as part of a very well organized route.
The springs are scattered in the neighborhoods of the two villages but also at countryside locations. They were meeting places of the inhabitants of the villages, awakening legends and traditions.
Daphne a verdant ravine, a proper fairyland meets the source of Antelikos further south through a beautiful route, accompanied by the ruins of old watermills, small waterfalls, tropical vegetation, gurgling waters, the smells and the colors of a wild nature that pleasantly impresses.
Kerasia, a spring of unique beauty and coolness, calms and relaxes those who pass by.
Gazaina, Klimatsa spoted at beautiful places in Vournikas village, well groomed and cool shall relax their visitors.
The source of the Arhodiko located at the highest point of the route with its wonderful view and all the other springs that we encounter, nine in total along the route, create a wonderful trek, time travel the visitors and have unique beauty that stands out in different ways depending on the season.
The path is circular with starting and finishing point the central square of Sivros (A. Panagouli Square). Residents of Sivros Stone Cottages, if they wish, they can start and end the routes from the accommodation. The hikers cover an easy route of about nine kilometers, which takes them to the neighborhoods of the two villages, to rural locations and cool places of wild vegetation.
The route is also suitable for small children. It takes about 04.00 to 04.30 hours to complete and its altitude difference from the lowest to the highest source is about 400 meters.
There is a choice for a light meal, for anyone who wishes so, at selected points of the route or for the guests of Sivros Stone Cottages at the garden after the end of the activity. Lunch is provided by collaborating local catering businesses with extra charge.
The routes are carried out by a collaborating local professional guide. The tour is in Greek or English and the guide has certified first aid skills and specific knowledge.

Exercise in the natural environment requires special care to avoid minor accidents and is always done with the choice and personal responsibility of the participants.
Necessary basic equipment (trekking or sports shoes, sportswear, hat, 1 lt of water, snacks, mobile phone). The use of walking sticks is recommended.
