Operating timeline
Sivros Stone Cottages is open all year round. The period covers four seasons, in which the nature of Lefkada generously offers images of amazing beauty that you can get to know by touring the island, its famous beaches and of course with your participation in the walking tours that we organize in collaboration with an experienced local professional guide.
Covid-19 measures
All protection measures against covid-19 are followed with particular care:
All areas are sanitized using a steam cleaner and all necessary cleaning methods imposed by the strict protection protocols.
During the pandemic there is a gap of 24 hours between two bookings.
Accommodation is maintained by the visitors. We provide clean sheets and towels every four days.
Disposable protection masks and disinfectant are provided.
The hosts are vaccinated against covid-19.
The greeting and guide tour of the tenants is carried out cordially, but with strict protection and security measures.
Breakfast
All three Sivros Stone Cottages have a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and small appliances for you to prepare breakfast or lunch.
Moreover, you have the option to order (delivery) breakfast or anything else you like from collaborating restaurants of our village, for a separate charge.
Shared laundry
It is possible to use a washing machine, which is located in a specific, housed, common area of the property upon request, free of charge.
Parking
Sivros Stone Cottages for the service of its tenants provides three parking spaces in a privately owned space.
Recycling – Composting
At Sivros Stone Cottages we show our love for nature by providing the opportunity for our visitors to separate their materials (plastic, glass) for recycling in the special recycling bins located in a specially designed space. There is also a composter. In our complete tour upon your arrival, we give you all the information you might need.
Grill – BBQ
In the comfortable outdoor areas of Sivros Stone Cottages there are different types of BBQ which can be used by our guests. There are gas, charcoal and wood BBQs. They are located in well-designed places ensuring absolute safety and the least possible inconvenience.
Outdoor shared dining area
Sivros Stone Cottages has a large shared terrace with stunning views of the south part of the island. There, in a shady spot, we placed two outdoor tables.
Garden access
The visitable garden hosts a tended vegetable garden, a pond with fish and beautiful aquatic plants, but also a small chicken coop.
Walking routes
The route is selected each time by planning a date, start time, pre-assembly point and a specific route. Last minute entries follow the selected route.
Exercise in the natural environment requires special care to avoid minor accidents and is always done with the choice and personal responsibility of the participants.
Necessary basic equipment (trekking or sports shoes, sportswear, hat, 1 lt of water, snacks, mobile phone). The use of walking sticks is recommended.
All protection and safety measures for covid-19 are strictly followed throughout the route.
There is an option for a light meal at selected points of the route or at the garden of the accommodation Sivros Stone Cottages (for the tenants) at the end of the activity.
Lunch is provided by collaborating local catering businesses with extra charge.
The routes are carried out with a local professional guide. The tour is in Greek or English.
Our accommodation especially for its hiking guests, who want a guide, offers a 10% discount on their stay fees of the basic price and has also secured a 10% discount on guide services.
For booking on walking routes no advance payment is required, filling in the relevant form is done for better organization and the claim of the 10% discount both on your stay and on the independently paid guide.
